I'm curious as to what's the difference between a 1JZGTE and a JZA70?. Also, I'm having the chance to purchase a jap spec supra engine and I want to swap a 7MGTE for a 1JZGTE in my car.What are all the parts I need? Thanks guys or gals.

Whats the difference? Its like saying whats the difference between bread and butter ! They are both two different things but go together.

1JZGTE is the engine, JZA70 is the chassis code for the mkiii supra containing it.

A lot of US peeps claim to have JZA70's.. they're just dreamers They have 1JZGTE MA70's.
