would the 2jz iscv work on the 1jz? i noticed they are similar. the only thing i can see that is different is the water lines and the resistance in the connector. the 1jz is 49 ohms and the 2jz is 30ohms. if anyone knows please let me know

The 1JZ ISCV is a different part number from the 2JZ ...

I am sure you could mod the 2JZ part to work...

I think you'd be better off just ordering one from Champion Toyota (see the 1JZ parts cross reference if you need the part number). I think my ISCV is not working right either, it never idles higher than 800rpms, even cold.

well im sure mine is bad. i applied battery voltage to the pins and the valve dosent move but it does click. i will try to get ahold of champion toyota. which branch of champion do you use i see there is houston, corpus christy, and austin thanks.
