I have an automatic Supra, and I'm going to do the 1JZ engine swap. Is it easy to swap to a manual, or is it more work, and should I just stay auto with the 1JZ engine I get? If it doesnt sound simple then let me rephrase:
because my car is already an automatic, should I look only for an automatic 1JZ or can I switch to a manual without alot of maintenance?

Doing a manual conversion at the same time is easy, especially if you buy a manual front cut as it will have all the parts you need.

Actually I'm not sure about the clutch for a LHD vehicle. I expect the master cylinder would be the same, but the lines would definitely be different.

go buy the two master cylinders and the 3 piece clutch line and install. Some people have lengthened the line a little but its not needed. I have all my stock lines but I relocated it some to fit.
