Ok, My 7mgte took a dump on me. I have found a ma70 front clip for a good price. The only problem is that it is an auto clip.

A friend told me that this isn't a problem, that all i need is the 1jz-5speed bellhousing and a 1jz flywheel. and the bell housing you can get from toyota...which I can get cost on. the flywheel im not sure on.

My other question has to do with the ECU and wiring.
Is it any problem to use the auto ecu with a 5speed car? In my experience with other cars it just throws a check engine light.

also I read that the wiring harness must be extended 2 and 1/2 feet if you stay left-hand drive. what portion is it that must be extended?

Are there any other issues I am not adressing? please let me know. I have to put a deposit on this clip in a few days

Talk to Aaron and Jose at Driftmotion. They sell and install 1JZ clips. They pretty much know everything about the Supra's. So I'm sure they can answer your question.
