whats going on my supra brothers i need help i have a 89 supra built in 11/88 do you think i have the right crossmember to do a 1j or a 2j swap tha nks for your help.also i need your opinion 1j or 2j swap!!!!!!!!!!

yea u shood b fine wit that cross member if your doing a 1jz swap the thing about doing a 2jz swap is that u haft to fabricate alot of your pieces in ur engine bay swap out your diff n drive shaft ect. id stick with the 1 jz swap because you probably r most likely not goin to fabricate or move anything so stick wit the 1jz unless you wanna spend alotta weekends and major money for a 2jz swap you kno? lol hope it hepled u

hey thanks man is that this is the 3rd 7m motor that i blow and im tired of it i love my supra so i just want some thing that can handle at least 500-600hp

Its alot easier to swap in a 1jz then a 2jz, 1jz might need some internal work to hold 500hp but its pretty easy to get there.

what about the harness for the motor what do i do about that is there a kit that they sell or everything plugs in on a 2jz or 1jz

ok heres the thing u need the harness from the motor to the connection in the middle of the chassi if you do a 1jz sawp.It should plug right in if you do a 2jz swap u need the whole wiring harnmess n change everythin i said befor in the past posts lol.what part of prov u live in? if you dont mind me askin
