I keep hearing that if you remove the fan(go to electric) you have to change out the water pump to the 2jz, why would i realy want to do this? It doesnt seem necessairy to me? I put washers under the studs and the bolts tighten fine holding the pully and it turns the water pump... so why?

never heard that being a problem. I have seen a few TT 1jzgte running electric fans and the stock water pump.
