Has anyone ever done this? Ive searched everywhere and cant find anyone doing it. Ive only seen swaps into MKIII's. I thought i saw a JZA80 on ebay the other day with a 1JZ under the hood and now it gone. Im wondering this because, i cant afford a 2JZ GTE powered JZA80, and the n/a motor doesnt seem to have enough potential, and are still around 10 grand on ebay, which i still cant afford.

Now I was thinking if i found a rolling chassis MKIV, and got a JDM 1JZ, possibly with R154 tranny out of a MA70, I might be able to put that together. Now is this just a insane idea or is it possible since the 1JZ and 2JZ are in a word fairly simular.
