Does anybody know where I can find some aftermarket rods and pistons locally. I'm not paying the outrageous prices of the greddy shite. Or perhaps does anyone know the exact dimensions of the stock units, perhaps if we could get a group buy together someone can make us some custom sets.

Tomei sells a set for 1,219 I wouldnt call that reasonable but its cheaper than trust/grex.I doubt anyone stocks them anyhow.
I've never seen affordable pistons. Might be better to order custom sets from JE Wiseco etc... like you mentioned in a group buy.

Arias sells a 1jz piston kit but I think its pretty expensive also
