hey can anyone tell me what parts from the 2jz can you use for the 1jz

Cam gears, O2 sensor, water pump and pulley, serpentine belt, pilot bearing, aftermarket intercooler, ignitor, JDM 2jz map sensor, power steering pump, throttle cable, valve cover gasket, thermostat, oil stem seals, rear main seal,knock sensor, crank and cam position sensors.

do the camshafts fit the 1jz?

Use the 'SEARCH" function in this forum, and you will find a complete list of cross-reference parts for the 1JZ-GTE that I have already linked to.

I think the ONLY part that is not on that list is the alternator, which can be had from a USDM 1993 SC 300.

not sure what you searched for, and normally I wouldn't do this for you but I had to search for it myself tonight because I needed it for a part number for my 1JZ, so thought I'd help out...

not sure what parts you'd need to machine, cuz if you can't order it from this list, Champion Toyota can get parts for the 1JZ no problem.
