hey peeps. does anyone know anything about the camshaft position sensors in the 1j head? i am thinking about upgrading my camshafts but i have heard that these sensors can be pretty troublesome. what exactly is the problem that they pose and how do i remedy that problem? i want to put 264 in./ex. cams.
my mods so far:upgraded intake manifold,90mm throttle body, walbro pump,f-con V, safc2, fuel pressure regulator kit, greddy bov, gt35, FMIC, relocated battery to trunk,AEM afr gauge, AEM wide band sensor,autometer boost/vacuum gauge, greddy profec b spec 2(with remote switch), hks turbo timer,koyo radiator, exedy stage three clutch, custom three inch exhaust from turbine to end.

as far as ive heard they are the same as the 2jz. i havent heard anything bad about them. just people having problems putting 2jz cams in a 1jz head.
