Is it really worth spending that much money to do a swap from the 7M to the 1JZ? i am on somewhat of a budget, as far as i can tell it is a gain of 50 hp, that is about it, i am not sure what the real differences are, also is there anything available to upgrade the 1JZ, i tried to find a webpage...the only one i found had little to nothing to offer me.

ummm, ok you might gain 50hp just from a strait swap, but the 1jz is IMO far better than the 7M. Refer to the 7M vs 1JZ threads. There are upgrades, like turbo kits. But from what I have seen you have to import them from Europe/Japan. If your not into making more power than the 7M can handle(Mellow Yellow's excluded) then just stick with it. Just my two cents.

yeah i plan on eventually running about 400-500 hp...
i think that will be plenty of hp..
