What I am trying to get information about is a 89+ MK3 NA with a manual tranny swap to a manual 1jz.

I know that the 7m-gte and the 1jz are basically direct swap except for the harness, throttle cable, fuel pump and so forth. I believe that both the 7M-GTE and the 1JZ use the same transmission the R154? And that the manual transmission in a NA Supra differs.

I would definatly purchase a clip instead of just an engine/tranny combo..

I wish to know anything special that would be need in the swap between the NA to the 1JZ, transmission wise and if they'res a different between the 7m-GTE and the 7M-GE swap to the 1JZ.

Yeah, both the 7M and the 1JZ engines use the R154 5spd, but the 1JZ uses a different bell housing (the bolt positions are different).

I'd suggest you read the FAQs and check out www.1jz-gte.us

The FAQ speaks mostly of the Turbo Model Supras..

I've heard before that the Manual and Automatic 7m's use a different transmission.. R145 and W58??

So I`m trying to figure out what the differences in the swap would be for the different transmissions.

i have already done it and all you need to do is swap the engine and trans from the clip(
plus the sensors, radiator, fan, and harness)it is very straight forward after that(except the harness)

If you buy a front clip from Jarco and you specify it, they can include everything from the engine, back.
If you get a TT-R front clip FROM JARCO, the standard loadout is everything in the engine bay all the way back to the Torsen LSD. Sometimes Billstein shocks, 1JZ emblems.. so basically, everything you need and then some. Other companies are not known for this level of detail when they import JZA70 front clips, so beware..
If you get a front clip, buy one with a 5 speed. You will get the R154. Get it a nice clutch, throw some Redline MT-90 tranny fluid in, and you can enjoy a tranny that can take alot of abuse.
