I have this FREE mod in use right now...but I read that you should use a real bcc for safety...why is that?
I have a Greddy bcc right now but I was going to return it for credits on something else. Thoughts? |

I'm not sure which free mod you are refering to, but definately keep the BCC. It's one of the most important devices you'll get for the car.

there is a good tech article on mkiv.com on why the bcc is better than the free fcd. look it up.

The free-bcc and the bcc accomplish the same results, but the bcc allows for a the necessary pre-spooling of the 2nd turbo, so in real life it should pro-long 2nd turbo issues from arising prematurely.

what if I am running in ttc mode?
(another question-if i have the 2nd turbo wired open, do I need to re-route the hoses too?) |

Free-bcc is fine with TTC and no need to do the hoses if you have the wastegate wired.
