I bought my Supra from someone who has done all the BPU mods, or at least from what i can tell. He put the Greddy Profec A, Greddy turbo timer, Tanabe Cat-back, Greddy BOV, and Front mount intercooler. If he put in a turbo boost controller, than i would assume he put a Boost cut controller also. Problem is i cant find it. I know that most people put it next to the ECU, and i looked there. Does anyone have any ideas as to where it might be located? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it is not located wired into the ECU, then he may have the FREE fuel cut mod, which if done would need to be upgraded to a BCC for safety.

The BCC in my car was taped to teh back of teh ecu. You might try looking there as well, just a thought.

I've heard that the Profec A's Fuzzy logic confuses the stock twins, and that a profec B is recommended.

Umm...i didnt know that. I thought the Profec A was better than the profec B. I know it costs more.

Yes, the fuzzy logic in the Profec A has a very hard time controlling and learning the sequential set-up in a TT Supra. It appears to be worse in some cars vs. others, but it does exist. The Profec A is probably one of the worst choices in an electronic boost controller for a sequential twin turbo set-up.

i've actually heard that sometimes people have wired the bcc under the hood. it might be near the firewall somewhere along the main wireloom,or you might look inside the ecu because i've seen people put it there also.
I hope that might help.

How does the profec A work with a big single turbo setup? Im planing to go single with a T78 when i get the money. Is there another EBC I can buy that would work good with both sequential and single turbos?

if your going single the profec a will be ok
i had this boost controler in my stealth r/t turbo and it worked great

for the stock twins in a supra ..well it sucks !
if you do the mod to the stock turbos it might be ok .
