Installed the Apex Twin Chamber BOV about 2 days ago. Install only took about 30mins. Now I have a question about the sping tension screw. For my boost levels 12-16psi will having the release spring tighter than necessary make my car run worse? It just doesn't seem like the car pulls as hard as it used to in 1st and 2nd gears.

No, the screw won't really make a difference. It may cause slight low RPM compressor surge but that is nothing to worry about. Maybe you didn't install the BOV properly and you are getting a boost leak. Do you have a boost gauge? Can you hold the same amount of boost till redline as before?
