I read about a guy in the Nov. Sport compact car magazine that had an AEM MAF elimination kit on his supra.
He said that just adding this kit with a custom aem intake he gained about 38 horsepower. Is this kit similar to the HKS VPC? Could I use a VPC mod. instead of getting a fuel control device like the apexi s-afc? Thanx, [This message was edited by Straight6 on September 26, 2003 at 06:23 PM.] |

No, nothing like vpc. you need the aem ecu to work with the kit, it comes with 3 pipes and a air temp sensor and clamps and hoses. It's just a fancy intake kit that removes the maf and a pipe for the airtemp sensor. I'm holding off on the ems ecu until it's a bit easier to work with. Here's some pics at the bottom.
