Well, my supra's secondary turbo is making the whine of death, it is about to blow. I am losing boost in the upper rpm range, and no longer redline my car, as to prevent further damage.
I want to get a set of remanufactured turbos from a company called turbo city (www.turbocity.com). They have warrentees on their turbos. A friend of mine got his stock rx-7 turbos from them for a decent price. They also sell rebuild kits for Supra turbos.
I am debating whether to go single, if it's cheaper. I don't have the money to spend on fuel management and things right now, that is why I want to get stock turbos until next year or so.
Toyota wants 1600 for EACH turbo. That's is why I decided to go with turbo city. Have any of you supra owners used them?
Thanx

We have a set of good twins with less than 30K around the shop. Just took them off, drop a line if interested, Manifold...everything, ready to drop on.
For the best supra part prices around moto1320@yahoo.com
not worth it to have the turbos rebuilt, i would suggest going to the for/sale section in SF, as there's always people selling theres for 200-500 bucks, depending on the mileage

I tried the rebuild kits from turbocity on my stock turbos. The kits are good kits it seems but after the rebuild I still didnt trust the turbos and ended up buying a used set that preform great. Save yourself the $220+ and get a good set of used turbos.
