No boost controller? I would say about 350-360 crank HP. 300 rwhp maybe!? Auto or 6sp?

auto, no boost controller/boost gauge yet. those numbers seem pretty low. i was thinkin 450-500 crank. and around 400 at the wheels.

so that would be around 420 at the crank?
- also with my mods and me waiting on a boost gauge, at what rpm does it usually boost at or above unsafe psi like 18psi?
thanks guys in advance

Guys...just pay 50$ and do 2-3 dyno runs and you'll be set. It's the best way to know it.
And for the thread starter, I re-read my post, my numbers were indeed on the low side. You will not get 450 crank hp without a boost controller, don't worry. I still think you would have around 375 crank right now. About 320-330 rwhp.

deceptikon -you should easily put out 430-450rwhp, on 19psi with race blend 93octane

lastlook -you should be around 380rwhp if you can get the 18psi to hold, with of course race blend as well...

No way deceptikon is around 450 rwhp, on 93 octane at only 19 psi. Maybe a 6sp car, with 21 psi on 110 octane racing fuel. 450 rwhp is not going to happen through an auto, not with his mods. He does not even have a fuel controller.

My car made 384rwhp/409rwtq @ 16psi with regualr 93 octane. It had DP, Filter, Exhaust, Greddy 4Row FMIC, raised boost(without a boost controller), and Gforce ECU.

OMAR- you dont mention anything about raised boost, so im figure under 14 psi. Id say ur looking at about 310-325rwhp, anywhere within that range. You definately will not be anywhere near 400+ to the wheels unless you are running raised boost 16psi+.

Deceptikon - i'd say based on seeing other cars like yours, 415-425 rwhp is achievable with 18-19 psi.

And Oliver, im a true believer that 450crank hp is NOT HARD at all to do without a boost controller. Hell, i practically did it, without cam gears, or tunning, or race gas, and with only 16psi. Big Grin

dasupra,

What color is your car...it looks great! Never seen that color before unless the lighting is throwing it off.

Greg,
Thanks for the compliments. The picture and lighting is fine. Its was just a rainy day with a dirty car in that pic. The color is the lexus graphite grey pearl.

I thought I would jump in with my results on my 93 Auto as another baseline. I have a BPU with BCC and EBC Greddy side mount cooler, K&N intake, HKS Racinf BOV, 3.5" DP, Random Tech Hi-Flow cat, through Apexi N1 exhaust. It put down 393 hp and 436 ft/lbs at approx 18psi.

Hope it helps.

Actually a stock MkIV turbo makes 300rwhp. With down pipe and exhaust (and of course a BCC), it will be around 360 at the wheels on pump gas.
