Hey Guys,
I'm installing the big HKS intercooler, 1301-RT066, on my 95 TT. None of their instructions show the AC condenser fan. I'll have to fabricate some brackets to get the new power steering cooler lines to fit, but there is only about 3.75" between the back of the fan motor and the bumper support. The intercooler is 4" deep. Also, the mounting holes on the top of the body to the intercooler aren't close enough to the front bumper to mount the intercooler in without hitting the fan motor. Has anyone run into this? I called HKS and SP Engineering and they both told me they had sold hundreds of these intercoolers and never had any problems. I'd rather not remove my AC, I know that's the easy fix. Anyone have any creative ideas? Thanks. |
