Hi all.. i'm in the throws of deciding whether to install an IC on my '97 TT. 2 questions..

(1) If the outside temp is low to start with (I live in the colder climes!) does the need or effectiveness of the IC drop 'proportionately'?

(2) Can anybody relate their experience w/ the Greddy stock locn intercooler, part # 12010020, versus a FMIC from Greddy such as part # 12010024.
E.g. Does anyone have hp increases realized for either of both of these units?

Thanks so much.

(1) In cooler climates the power gains of a front mount intercooler on a stock twin car would not be as significant. I would probably spend that money on a used HKS VPC.

(2) The stock sidemount GReddy intercooler is no larger than the stock unit, and is actually said to be less efficient.
