i saw some guy on thepartstrader.com selling stock gutted cats for the mkiv..he said that they will give more boost....is this possible for just a cat to give more boost or did he mean that u can run more boost with a boost conoller helping..help me please..also my boy has a 12 sec wrx and he was foolin with my boys stock wrx ..he was mesinw ith the wastegate actuator or whatever is on the outside of the wastegate..he pulled back the lever and for a few minutes we got over 20 psi of boost on the wrx stock turbo....is this possible..he said it goes back to stock after a few minutes but he can make it stay that way..is he bullsh*tting me or is this somewhat possible if you knwow aht your doing..rememebr this is a stocvk wrx..no boost controler

wait so your saying that just gutting my cats will give me 1 to 2 more psi of boost and thats wih nothing else..like as soon as i do this my car will automatically boost an extra 1 or 2 psi even if it is all stock no boost controller or anything...i just dont get if it means that it will give mroe boost instantly or if it will amke my car capable of running more boost..

ya it might give you 1 to 2 psi boost, but your ecu maxes out at 15psi, i think your safe though. supra's stock psi is i think 10.5-11psi, so do the math, if you get more psi, you'll need a BCC.
