im at BPU+ in my 1995 mkiv I was wondering how much I can gain off of upgrading my cam gears and under-drive pulleys? I also bought a precision torque converter for my car with a 3800 stall.. I was just told that would make me lose power.. why is that?
Thanks... |

pulley kits arent a very good idea. mkiv.com has a write up on why if you care to know. any way a higher stall on the automatic supra is probably the best mod you can do (besided upgraded turbo). you will notice a great difference in the car.

I have a 1993.5 auto tt and just changed the cam and pullies and i noticed a big change. The cams i installed are hks 256/256 and the pullies are fidanza. I reckon a good 15hp increase lost a bit of bottom end power but well make it up in mid range and my tt is jdm.

256 is very mild. i wasnt even aware that hks made a 256.
