I just put on a 3inch exhaust and now my car is blowing black smoke sometimes.
I have been told my fuel mixture is to rich. is this true. would resetting the ecu fix this problem? if not what would. rzsupra |

Black smoke does mean you are running to rich...and possibly burning some oil.
Resetting the ECU may help...but if all you did was replace the exhaust....hmm. You have a HIGH-FLO cat on don't you? Or do you still have the stock cat?? |

If you just put a new aftermarket exhaust on it'll smoke... don't worry about this though it's normal. When they bend the pipes they have to lubricate the insides of them so they can pull the mandrel back out. The smoke is more than likely just the excess oil residue burning off.
