hey wats up...
i am recently full bpu..i have intake greddy exhaust and rmm dp..basically the car is fully straight pipe with no cats ..i also have profec B set at 19 psi and also i have a BCC also....i was just wondering if anyone elses car doesnt run consistently..i have new ngk plugs in it also gapped correctly...soemtimes when i am racing on the highway or just fooling around i will run perfect and the car is very very fast and it boosts very strong and both turboes are very healthy..then sometime at random times the car wont boost as hard anf it doesnt seem to have the power that it had the race before...sometimes i race my freind and his car runs perfect all the time (300zx tt) sometimes we race from the same speed and sometimes he stays right next to me and sometimes i pull like 5 cars on him and sometimes he pulls maybe a car on me...but we both are shifting the same way and very consistently..its not our driving because u can actually feel the car running different then it did 2 mins before...basically all i want to know is if this happends to other peoples BPU's ... or is i maybe that turbo cars are very sensitive when they are boosted..or is it just the supra with the somewhat complicated tt setup...

thanx

well your stressing the factory fuel maps past 18 psi, throwing off the entire a/f ratios. drop it down to 18 and try.

might be your profecB, watch your boost gauge and see if it consistently hits and holds 19psi or whatever setting you have...

just a thought:

do you have an aftermarket intercooler?

after a while, you may start to loose hp because of heat soak (i think thats what its called)

i dont know... good luck

It's probably heat soak and timing pull that you're experiencing.

As soon as the computer starts to pull timing, there goes 50hp. 19psi is too much on pump gas.

you shouldnt run 18+ psi on pump gas. it could be heat soak, and your wastegate just acting up sometimes
