YOU SHOULD HAVE IT SET TO 4.3VDC WHILE YOUR CAR IS IDLING. TEST WITH VOLT-METER.LOOK UNDER MKIV TECHGUIDE.

Yup, you will need to turn the little screw. Mine came to me set at 3.8V which is not optimal.
