hello,

sorry but I'm a total newbie mainly because i'm 17 and i bought my 1994 T/T manual 6speed two weeks ago. I was looking at the stage 3 BPU kit and had a few questions. First, is this kit all i need? Do i have to buy anything else to go along with it to make it better or to make it work? like inter cooler, etc... Also, these kits are user friendly right? Like after i get some1 to install it it will be easy to learn right?

Thanks alot
Andy

PLEASE HELP!

Its not a BPU kit.Basicly its a T-78 turbo kit with a AEM EMS (,map sensors pigtails ,around 700 HP fuel system,HKS twin power DLI ignition. All what you need is a FMIC,exhaust system, clucth, new flywheel if you want toa boost,ETG, a fuel pressure gauge,a turbo timer.a boost controller,a dyno sessoin and some other stuff that I know that I'm forgeting but i don't know what they are.

Yes but that 700hp is at the crank and with race gas, on 92 Octane you get 570 hp. You will need a clutch upgrade, which you can discuss at the time of your purchase. A good set of gauges (Boost, EGT, Fuel Pressure) are also a good idea.

Dude can you handle that much power? Honsestly? Try out BPU++ before you just decide to build a 700+hp Street Car, before you kill yourself. Roll Eyes

No you don't have to get rid of it just work with it but also you would have to upgrade the suspension with either lower springs with new shoocks or Coil Over.

hey man, you just got your Supra and you should just stick with these numbers for now. you especially said that you're a newbie, so that i suggest you ride the dawg stock for now, and then come the upgrades! =\
so you might as well start out bpu after a few months of riding stock.

well, annthing beyond BPU++ is going to cost you a lot of money. Besides the kit, you will need a lot of stuff to make safe power. So like others say, go bpu++ first.

460 BHP at the crank on 92 octain pump gas. Hope this helps you out. I woud suggest you going BPU ++ there have been cars that have dyno'd in the 460 rwhp range with BPU kits and one that has done 480 RWHP with a ported and polished head BPU but I can't remember if that was with a small shot of nitrous or not.
