Are you pressed for cash and want quick horsepower? You can install this stuff on your own for free.. it's really not difficult at all. All you really need to do is be able to turn a wrench.
I don't know how much it would cost for someone else to install the stuff for you. |

basic bpu mods are super simple. if you want to save your self money buy used parts and instead of buying a ebc get a mbc or bleeder.

quote: 450-500 at the wheels, or at the flywheel? At the wheels, I don't think you are going to do very cheaply. For that power at the crank, you can swiss-cheese the stock airbox for more flow, spend $75 on a Greddy boost cut controller, unbolt your whole exhaust and replace it with an open $300 suprastore downpipe, get a manual bleeder to run 19 psi or so. I'd also recommend that you at least have a car with an engine in good shape and new spark plugs with a smaller than stock gap [look up recommended BPU plugs and gap]. |

500whp is tough and i dont think it has been broken with a supra on stock turbos...yet. i think 498 wheel is the current record (not 100% sure)

I think it could be done now, with an AEM EMS, an AEM MAP conversion kit [a gain of 50hp/tq in the midrange JUST from this conversion on a BPU Supra has been seen], cam gears, an intercooler and race gas. You may also need a few extremes, like lightweight flywheel, pulleys, electric water pump and removal of AC compressor [these alone could yield surprising results]. I do believe 500hp is quite possible on the stock twins - I just wouldn't recommend it. It's stretching the wire a bit thin.
