Hi !
(sorry for my english ! I'm french) I have an automatic twin turbo SUPRA (1995 ; 36000 km). The ECU has been reprogrammed (by a swiss company). I'have installed (with TOYOTA) a turbo timer (Blitz) and an electronic boost controller (Blitz, single solenoid). I set the gain on 5 and the limiter to 1.2 kg/cm2 (17 psi) and -5. All the others elements (exhaust, intake, etc.) are stock ones. If I set the ratio on 60 the pressure reaches 1.1 kg/cm2 = 15.5 psi (1.38 kg/cm2 = 19.5psi with a ratio set on 80) BUT the yellow light of electric breakdown ignites and the ECU cut the ignition for a few second. According to TOYOTA, it is about a code error 34 which indicates that the pressure exceeds 2 kg / cm2 during more than 2 seconds. It is impossible because the pressure never exceed 1.38 kg/cm2 (I use a good manometer) Do you know how to solve this problem ? I could command another probe of measure of pressure to make tests, but it costs about $450. Thank you very much for your help Gilbert |

you're probably hitting boost cut at around 14 psi. Install a Greddy BCC.

Thank you for this advice ! However, I thought that the fact that the computer is reprogrammed was equivalent. Besides, the technical documentation TOYOTA indicates that the alarm starts in 2 kg / cm2 (that is approximately 28 PSI) and not in 14 psi.
If I have no better suggestion, I am going to try, but it's very difficult to buy this equipment in France ! Gilbert |

Sounds like fuel cut to me. Call the French company that reprogrammed the ECU. Try the free fuel cut mod to test if that is the case. FFCD.
