It sems to be a good seller but know one has a good setting and everyone seems to struggle with set up. I just picked up my 1994 twin up from a tuner and he fought the settings. He took over 40 runs on a Dyno and thinks it's good. He could not get 18 PSI out of it. But the car runs like a raped ape. But are we getting all we can get? So back to GReddy..... are we getting all we can get. The mystery continues on the Profec B 2. Is their an answer.

Yeah set up on this thing is wacko. My friend has a Hks ez2 and it seems very easy compare to this. But after awhile ig ot mine to work fine. Before i would have the wrong settings and i could get boost spikes like crazy. but i have the right settings now u cant get 18 psi out of it? do u have a BCC? i got 18 out of mine u just have to play with the settings. I know some people who holds 30 psi with this. Just have to play with the settings and Make sure the installtion isr ight both acuwators is connected. make sure u plug the 1st actuwators too.

the profec is a piece of crap. like he^ said, play with the settings and check the install.

The Profec B Spec II is NOT a piece of crap. It is a very good boost controller. The main reason why people don't like it is because its all digital tuning and does spike a little bit.

Remember for your settings:

set-start out around 25%
gain- start out around 12% and shouldnt need to go any higher than 16%
set_gain- should be 4 psi less than what you are wanting to run at. (IE. 18psi, set_gain value of 14psi, which is .96kpa

keep in mind to leave all your settings in KPA and do not convert to PSI mode, it will screw up your warning/limiters

I'm currently running 17psi on RC550cc injectors and DR500 turbos and here are my settings:

set-42%
gain-15%
set_gain_ .80kpa ~12psi as opposed to 13psi

My turbos spool quickly than my stocked 9Bs and can indeed hold 18psi through redline no problem.

exactly why its a POS. plus it uses that fuzzy logic or whatever it is which doesnt seem to do anything but cause headaches.

As far as upgrades I only have an air-intake, downpipe and exhaust. I have been dyno'd @ 345 rwhp. (mkiv)
I only have the Profec B connected to the waste gate actuator set @ 19psi. I think I feel both turbos working. At about 13psi I feel a spike . I'm assumeing that is the second turbo coming on line.
*I feel that I should be makeing more power.

**Am I hooked up wrong?

you should be making around the 360-380 range. is your boost falling off towards redline?

Its consistant.

Com1 on the new greddy valve under the hood is connected to the wastegate actuator . The second plug on the wastegate actuator is plugged up . Com2 on the greddy valve is connect to the houseing of turbo 1.

*Does that sound right or do I need to work in the exhaust bypass actuator to Com1 w/the wastegate actuator?

**How do you have yours connected?
