I have an oil leak in the back of the engine. It comes out of where the cam seal would be in the back of the engine. It is on the passenger side head. It is exactly where the end of the cam is. There are 3 bolts holding a plate on. Oil just leaks out. I did not see any gasket on it when I took the cover off. Just a little o-ring. But that looked fine. There looked as if there was no seal or gasket on the cover. I tried tightening the bolts as much as possible. It still leaks a little. What am I doing wrong, am I missing something?

Replace the O-ring, I have the same probably on mine, but both the intake and exhaust side cams do, of course you would expect that from a really high mileage engine.

I was working on my car last night, pulling that plate off the back. The o-ring that was in there is as flat as anything could be. It was not making the seal. Thanks for the help.
