Just got my first supra today, baby blue 82' with every option. Had been looking for one for a while but as I'm sure you guys know 2nd gens are few and far between. About a week ago some guy came into my buddies auto parts place and said he was looking to get rid of an 82 supra. Later today he called and told me the guy didn't want anything for it! So 2 hours later I drove to the guys work and picked it up Isn't half as bad as I expected it to be for free, mainly cosmetic stuff and a couple simple things like cam housing gaskets, rear diff gasket, exhaust leak. Otherwise the car is mechanically sound, runs extremely strong, and fortunately had a clutch installed about 6 months ago. Car also came with the original shop manuals which is always a plus.
I havent really looked into my options much but I do want to put some kind of turbo setup on it eventually, but I want to take care of the car asthetically before messing around with it, and I already have an 88 V8 fiero GT that turns 11's to play with Any of you supra guys want a serious taste of pontiac performance let me know
