Hey guys. This forum is great. Im not really a Toyota fan, but my brother is. He's got a 87 Toyota Supra NON turbo automatic. The car's got 109k on it. Exteriors in rough shape considering we live in the colder climates :P

We'd like to know how much these mkiii's go for and what the full potential of this car is. Like i said, im not a Toyota guy and it's his first car. We know little to none about these cars and would appreciate any help in advance.

Also, would you guys be able to tell us what motors in the car? We might be looking to sell it or trade. Motors VERY strong!

The engine has a lot of potential espicially the turbo engine. Its very hard to juice up a NA 7MGE and get it to go go. But if you have the 7MGTE (turbo engine) now that is major power. The non turbo only has 200 HP and the turbo version has 232 HP/246 lb torque from 87-88 and 236 HP/256 lb torque from 89-92. also difference in torque band. Those cars need to be tune right if not tune correctly it won't run the way you want it to be. If you know how to tune it you'll unleashed the best within. goodluck!

thanks for the reply Inertia...yeah this motors non-turbo...would you guys know how much it'll run or what i could get off it if i was looking to sell?

it depends on the condition of the car. You can probably sell it for more if the car is in good condition. good luck!
