Ok me and my friend are builind his turbo project. He has a 84 SUpra and he swaped the engine for a 6M. Here is what we have so far.

Engine : 6m
Manifold/Tubointercooler: 7M
255 fuel pump
Cartech Rising rate FMU.
3" downpipe.
5m intakemanifol
5m inectors
5m AFM
5m ECU.

The prob we have is that as soon as the turbo starts to spool up the engine cuts out. We dont even see the guage hit 1psi. The A/F guage has it as lean for the start at around 2k its stoich and when it starts to spool it hits the rich part. So we are kind of stumped on what we need to do. If somebody can help us out that would be great. Thanx

Does it cut out a particular rpm or only with boost/load, in any gear? I would definitely check ignition. I had similar problems with a different car in an NA-T upgrade (it was the plugs and their gap).

What do you mean turn down the boost!?

Yeah, check the gap. If you cant find anything wrong, Id hit Cartech up for help. It might be A/F ratio.
