ok, my stock alarm is tweeking out everytime I open the door. I try opening from the passenger door and the freaken alarm still comes on. I disable the sound but the headlights still flashes. My question is, where can I locate the wire or the fuse to disable the alarm?

I'm not sure off hand. Do you have any sort of repair manual or diagram handy? If not I could look for you in some of mine.

The microswitchs on the door locks are screwed up. More than likely the wire is broken off the switch or the switch is screwed u, its a very common problem on Mk2s. If you pull the door panels off and you look at the door latch the switch is on the bottom. You're best bet is to repair the wire and you're as good as new or get a used replacement (they're the same on both sides). The alarm box is in the drivers quarter panel under the quarter window. A simplier fix is to simply lock the doors with the key on the outside. The alarm should only activate when you lock the door from the inside. HTH
