Hello to all, to get right to the point I bought a good to excellent 85 supra (of course). Anyway I bought from my mother-in0law for 250.00, guess I got a steal right, I don't know I guess it has the biggest problem with these cars. The dreaded blown head gasket, I think or maybe worse.I'm mechanically minded and know quite a bit about american but want to fix this car but is it worth it? I't is pushing the water back out of the radiator as fast as I try to fill it while it is running, if I fill it with it off then start it all the water boils out in the engine and the radiator never gets hot but the block gets SMOKIN. I have all the signs of head gasket, water in oil water coming out of tailpipe etc. Just wondering if it could be worse than head gasket, and about how long it takes to change. Thanks any info would be helpful>

Sounds like your engine is toast. This is a good excuse to install a 6M-GE!

How many miles does your motor have on it currently. If it's on the high side, it very well may be a good time to upgrade to a 6m motor...
