I don't know if you got your clutch in by now but you just need to play with it. You need to line up the bolt pattern and you also need to line up the shaft where the throw out bearing slides in. YOu'll need to direct the shaft into the engine. That is all to it and you might need more than one person to do guide it in. Dropping the tranny is easy but putting it back in is a hassle. I hope this helps out ... if you have anymore questions feel free to ask more.

I would but man that is like far.... but Doing the clutch would be easy for me to say but it just time consuming. You might need a extra hand just so that it is a lot easier for you. The tranny should have about 12 bolts pattern on the tranny. I'm not sure how far you are with the tranny. You'll need to unbolt the tranny where it hooks up to the U-joint shaft and of course make sure that the clutch slave cylinder, speedometer cable is free, tranny mount and any other things that are hooked up to the tranny. I'm pretty sure that is all to it. You'll need a good open wrench to get to tight spot on the tranny because you're going to need some leverage to brake loose the bolts. Once you have unbolt the tranny and everything is free away from the tranny make sure you have something to support underneath the tranny. YOu'll need to get a good size pry bar to seperate the tranny away from the engine. Becareful because once it is away from the engine of course the tranny will fall down like nothing. Before you put in the new Clutch you want to make sure you resurface the flywheel before the tranny goes back on. Take off the fly wheel with a socket and there should only be 6 bolt pattern that holds the flywheel in place. Take it to a good machine shop and have it resurface so that when you put in the new clutch there won't be any signs of slipperage and wear. let me know where you are at on your tranny and I'll do my best to help you out. don't give up because you can do it. If you want you can email me at insanit_y3@hotmail.com and I can help you through there too. Or my aim is InitialTRD.... I hope this helps out a little...

No, you don't need to lift your engine because all you're messing with is the tranny. YOu'll have to remove the starter because the bolts mounts up to the engine. The speedometer cable is located on the driver side. The bolts on top you have to squeeze to get to it... There isn't no tricks to it. I had major headache when I was attacking it but with a good wrench it made me a happy camper. hope this helps out a little.
