Man your ride is totally sick!!! I mean freaken wicked! A dead sleeper! I give you major props!!! I once owned a 85 and I had the same plan as you but didn't get far. I decided to go 6MGTE instead. STill I had pretty decent power. But man, keep up the great work! I would love to see that on the track!

would love a layout of what it took to get the 1jz into your ride... thought about a 7mgte on my '83, but that 1jz looks way to beautiful

Its a pretty easy swap. I just had to fab a crossmember, some mounts, half the 1jz driveshaft, wiring, and a few other small things. For me the hardest part was the wiring. I tried to go with the stock ecu but I just could not get the wiring to work thats why I went stand alone.
