I hope someone can help me on this?
I have an 83 Supra that wont start the starter just clicks once then nothing. It's not a continuos click like when the battery goes dead. Before this happened it I hooked up a wrong wire and blew the fuse for the tail lights and replaced the fuse with same amp( 15A ) It took a couple of pushes on the old kill button before it started about 3-4 after the fuse blew
.
I know that it should only take 1, but it started so I didn't really even think about it.
Now all the damn thing does is make ONE CLICK then nothing? Lights are bright and everything turns on.. PLZ help I need her to start. confused frown confused eek confused confused

What are you talking about. Ya it's stock all I did so far was add a cold air intake. As a matter of fact I have beaten 2 mustang gt5.0's since I first bought the car. It don't matter if it is by an Inch our a Mile winning is winning. Razz Of course I also have been eaten up a couple of times as well only raced it like 5 times total i won 2 and lost 3 but I haven't done anything signifigent as of yet. just changed spark/distrib/wires. But wait til the summer Big Grin

A 5.0 mustang runs 0-60 in 6.4sec. and 1/4mile in 14.9sec. stock. Your 83' supra runs 0-60 in 8.9sec. and 1/4mile in 16.8sec. stock. A cold air will not make much of a difference. Not a big enough difference to win. Don't get me wrong, I love supra's I own an 84', but it won't take a 5.0 with a serious driver without some work. I got the times off this website: http://www.tweak3d.net/videos/perf.shtml

That isnt always true, he can still win, more than likely not, BUT, it also comes down to the driver. I have beaten one 5.0, and the only reason that happened is because he missed 3rd and hit 5th Smile At least that is what it sounded like
