Anybody here have coil overs on there MK2? I kinda checked around, didn't find anything other than some sway bars, and springs. I'd really like to throw the sway bars and coil overs on it. Make this thing handle like it should. Got any links or places that carry them??

hi
have put coilovers on my mk2 not an easy job but can be done useing a combo of koni shocks and king springs hardest job is seting the rideheight,
cut the top off the struts once old shock has been removed weld new coilover thead on and put back together using your old top hat and bolt back in car my shocks are fully ajustable and springs can be exchanged for harder ones, the back is a different story u can put heaver springs in and get a ajustable damping shock but the down side to this shock is that u have to remove it and compress it then turn so amny clicks and reinstall, bugger of a job, but the front take cover off top of strut and put koni dial on top and turn! anything can be done but its all about money and finding people with the nowhow!

I would put a custom front coil-over system for the MKII supra once I could find a spring that has the right weight loading. the MKII front suspension is almost the same as the AE86 Corolla GT-S. I have done a lot of custom work and suspension tuning for the AE86. the GC coil-over set for the AE86 would fit on the MKII strut assembly, but, the spring rate is a little diff. on the AE86. since the MKII is heavier, it needs a more stronger and heavier spring rate on the front. and as for the rear coil-over, I would go for the lowering spring kit. but if you do really want a coil-over system all the way around, then you'll definitely need to do a custom job. well, I would but, I havent done it for the MKII's. yet..
