recently i've acquired a 1982/3 supra, did all the body work, but for whatever reason the car will not run for sh!t, i've replaced many things, and don't feel like putting money towards this engine...

i haven't searched yet, which is my next step...
but, i was wondering what my engine swap options are...i'd prefer something turbo/or even twin turbo'd, but i don't think anything is offered that would just swap in...

please, since i don't know engine codes and specifics of this car, please explain.....

if you can help me i'd appreciate it...

nice ride... I have one myself.. If the "check engine" light don't stay on then you won't be able to pull any codes. How is the car not running.. would it start? does it start and don't run? Are you getting enough fuel and air? Now, if you want to do a swap you can do the 7mgte and for that you'll need a whole donor. If you want twin turbo for the 5mge you know you can still get it through toysport.com I believe they still have it. Or you can do a single turbo on the 5mge and still get impressive power. feel me in more info on your car's condition and I'll do my best to seek whats causing your problem.

7mgte! 87-92 mkIII supra! i think u have to change out the oil pan! make ur own intercooler pipes and get a stock intercooler or aftermarket. accordian hose, and coil packs. there is a site somewhere that tells u how to swap the 7mgte motor into the mk2
