you can find one in the $1,000 range that is a direct bolt on from www.suprasport.com...but if that is too pricey for you than you could upgrade the ct-26 to 60-1 trim which is a popular upgrade...

Now I'm an MKIII guy and own an 87 but my father owned an 83 and I'm considering buying a cheap one as a present as an oldschool project car and was wondering if they had carburetors or any kind of old school all motor version of tuning for the MKII?

The first "Supra" was the Celica Supra. The top of the line Celica. It had multi point fuel injection from the begining.

The 2000GT had carbs. You will have great trouble finding one. And then you have to deal with stealing parts from a classic and trying to make it work.

Ive never seen an aftermarket manifold and carb for this engine. That doesnt mean there isnt one.

Newayz, I would rather go all out TURBO! I've been running N/A for 3yrs now and I'm tired of it. well, its either ya'll should go 5M-GTE, 6M-GTE or 7M-GTE. turbo and some healthy dose of laughing gas can do wonders too!
