i was thinking of getting a spec stage 2 for my 7mge considering mine is wearing out and starting to slip constantly in third, is it a good clutch for the price? , or am i wasting money on it?

First off, referring to products as "stage 1" or "stage 2" is vague. Every manufacturer has a different definition of "stage". You need to look at the specs of the particular product and think about what power goals you have in mind. That will give you a better idea of what "stage" product you need for your car.

N/a Supras dont pump out enough power/torque for a "stage 2" clutch to be required. A new OEM clutch will suffice, or stage 1 if you'd like. Stage 2 clutch wont really benefit you any, but get it if youd like, it wont hurt! Just be prepared for a slighty harder clutch pedal.

When changing the clutch, its also smart to change the pressure plate and throw-out bearing at the same time, save yourself the headache. If you have performance in mind too, look into a lightweight flywheel.
