hell ya, 20% less power lost across auto trans, and it's more fun.

Winter Projects

-Supra overhaul
-Saab Turbo Conversion
-0z Lancer 2 old skool conversion
-Turbo Probe Upgrade(not by choice, g/f's car)
-Project Boostin Beamer
-Turbo Scoop convert
-ss s10-Red-top

It's good to have a broad Palet.

I've done the swap myself. Very easy. All you do is pull/disconnect the shifter, unbolt the old tranny from the eninge and the mounts, change from a flexplate to a flywheel, put the new tranny in, hook up the shifter, and off you go. You have to do a little splicing of wires to get the reverse lights to go on though. Still pretty much a bolt on affair.

I hear the only difficult part is getting the bracket to hold the clutch pedal on since they no longer make them. I'm planning on doing a swap myself... 99.9% sure I'll do it in college next year because they have everything there... especially transmission related things... and both a chassis dyno and transmission dyno. :P
