Earlier, Nick had stated that the gear ratio for the rear differential is different from N/A to turbo. I believe he said that the N/A was 4.30:1 and the manual was 3.901:1. My question is what is the difference and which on will give you more of an edge in dragging?

Depends on the overall ratio, and the engine speed that is attainable.
Torque and speed is a tradeoff in a gear set. Its one or the other. If the gearing is really short, the car will accelerate harder. But if its a manual, you lose tenths every time you shift negating to a point the effect. You are not fast, and you sure as hell are not furious. |

Ok. Thanks Nick. I thought the lower would give you better acceleration. I wanted to switch them out because I have a N/A differential on my turbo engine from doing the swap. I still have the turbo diff and wanted to see which one would make me better in a race.

The two are close. Like I said, torque and speed are a trade off. If you have a lot of power, you might consider a little taller (lower number) gear. The taller gear will generate more speed, and the torque can handle it if you have plenty on tap.
