My car has been having transmission problems since I got it. When I put my car in nutral it stalls. If I rev it up before it stall I hear a click and the it wont stall when I engage the clutch. Also my car stall after just shifting into revers or first when taking off. I need to rev it up to 3k rpm to get it to move without stalling. Its like if something is causing serious drag at take off. If I started moving and I stay in the same gear I can take off like normall without stalling.

well Im not sure if its that but it seem to me it is releasing since the engine dosnt stall when I'm stopped in gear. I could be wrong too. When I move really slowly and press the clutch in I hear a loud clunk and the car stops like if it was an automatic that was just put into park while moving. Whne the car is moving a t a faster speed I dont even have to press the brakes to slow down it slow down by it self like if some thing is pressing a brake in the drivetrain. Today the car wont even hol it self into 4th gear anymore. I have to pull on the shifter into fourth for It to stay in gear. If I let it go it will pop out. First gear pops out only when I step on the gas kind of hard. Then I have to come to a complete stop on the road To put it back into first gear.

I think you could have two different problems now if your description is right.

Now I know why the guy sold me the car so fast. What could be the problems? YOu said I could have 2 of them. I think the sincros are bad I tried to check the tranny fluid but that plug is so tight it feel like its welded o the tranny. I evn tried a braker bar All I did was drag myself across the floor. The plug did not move one bit.

i just checked my tranny oil yesterday. (it was good) try driving the car for a while then doing it. if the tranny gets hot maybe the housing and the plug will cool at different rates (just a guess) and it might loosen up a bit easier. i had no trouble w/ mine. good luck

Hard shifting is a clutch release problem. But if its not hard in all the gears, that isnt the problem.

Stalling and the hard shift I think are two things. As stated, change the fluid, make sure it is full too. See if it shifts then.

Ok I have tried Everythig to get that bolt off. I tried driving the car but it didn't work. All the car did was a big cloud of smoke coming from the tranny and didnt move one bit. My clutch is really fried now. Right before all that happend The car shifted into just 1st and 4th easily but the rest were stuck. Now it wont even stay in 4th It keeps poping out of the gear as soon as I let go of the clucth all the way.
How much better is a turbo clutch then a n/a clutch?

I was tring to go up a ramp so I could check the slave cylinder and see if it had air in it or wasn't working. Then I was going to check to see If I could get thast tranny bolt off. I got 1/3 of the way up the rest then all the clutch did was slip and smoke. After that I gave up on it and tunred off the car. Then the car was stuck in first gear and I couldn't remove it out of gear. I had to force the ramp off from underneath the car and then push the car forward to relase the shifter abit and then push out the car. I had to really pull hard on the shifter to get it out of gear. Also now If I try to drive the car it won't move at all. All it does is smoke the clutch.
