Just break it in half at the rubber joint. You will be happy. Trust me.

Bull shit they dont flex as much. It flexes far more. If you have seen one that is nice and firm, its aftermarket.

To me they feel stiffer. My supra shifter would flex like crazy when pullin on the gears, but my T5 didnt. I dont feel like haveing and argument over dumb ass shifter flex, so whatever you say.

There is no need to ever question me anyway. IT is well known fact, even if you didnt know, that the stock mustang shifter is the biggest pile of shit ever made. Ive had a few 5.0's. I am not making this up for my enjoyment, unlike the bs stories in the kill section.

Maybe there is something wrong with the shifter in your Supra. Mine is stock and alot better than a T-5 one. Confused

The shifter in the Stang is two pieces. It uses to bolts to hold it together with a rubber bushing. The Supra is one piece. Maybe he is thinking of the linkage.

I have one for sale out of my mk3. The shaft is .5" and un-threaded. Use a knob w/set screws or thread it and use the stock knob like I did. All together it sticks up anout 3.5"-4" from the console. At first I thought it'd be too short but it is perfect!
