I've got a MkIII with the 7mge and a W58 tranny. I was wondering if the getrag tranny would bolt to the motor and clutch... please help!

It won't bolt up, eh? Well does anyone know of any adaptors or anything, or is this just an impossible task?

nothing is impossible in the autoworld.

Of course this is given an unlimited resource (MONEY) and time. You can shoe horn a 500 Nitromethane motor into a MKIII supra with a 2 speed tranny. Of course the funds to do that is pretty steep (meaning that it would be out of reach for 97% of all supra owners Wink ).

Why do you have such extreme tranny issues with your n/a?

I don't have ANY issues with my tranny, I just wanted to know how easy it would be to go with the 6spd because of the slight differences in gear ratios. I like the six speed gearing for 4th-5th better, that's all.

It's not worth the effort, save your money and time for something like a 7MGTE, 1JZGTE, or a 2JZGTE (last one preferably with a 1993.5-1998 Supra attached).

I'll just stick with the NA 5spd.
