Finally, after 4 months of waiting... I found time to take off the driveshaft, transmission and change the clutch. MY SUPRA FINALLY RUNS!!!

Thankyou all for the advice and help with this major problem of mine.

Yet, I have one more problem left.

It seems that 1st gear bounces or slips? I don't know how to really explain it...

But it kind of jumps when acceleraing....

Once again... I look forward to some advice.

Thankyou again for helping me.

Oh yeah, also forgot to mention... this replacing of the clutch was HELL! Something like this job ought to go on dirty jobs! I'm dirty from head to toe from all the grime, grease, and crap that resides on the bottom of a car... then there were the bolts... ugh! THank goodness the Auto Hobby Shop here on Ft. Bragg, NC hass all the tools you could ever dream of... that helped a ton.

I had a bay, a lift, and went through at least 30 different tools for this job... no exrta hands to help either.... I would not recommend this for a single person to do... but it can be done as long as you have all the "needed" tools.

the only thing that comes to mind when you think of slipping gears is that the pressure plate might be torqued wrong or like in teh case of my old rx7 you blew through the first gear but you might want to make sure it was torqued down correctly

did you break the clutch in already?

you're supposed to do 1000 miles of stop/go clutch work to properly break in the clutch disc to the pressure plate.

did you torque the pressure plate properly? did you make sure there's no grease or oil on the flywheel/clutch/pressure plate?

i had a similar problem to what your describing on my 1997 toyota 4 runner 5 spd, and it turned out to be the flywheel loosening up. it occurred right after putting in a new clutch also
