I know this should go in tranny section, but no seems to go there very often. Anyways, I need a good clutch, something that will hold at least 450ft.lbs and a similar hp figure. I've seen some things on ebay from AIMCO Clutch called "DTX" or something, they claim to hold 600hp and 1200lbs of torque....yeah right, for $400??? So since I'm sure that's a crock of shit, what is a good, slippable clutch for our cars? I need to stay under $500, any ideas?

hey alex S
I have a giken tripple plate clutch good up to 600 hp. it is used but only has like 5000 miles on it. the old owner crashed his car. it is also attached to a lightened flywheel. I think you have to get an adapter from giken also, but it would be worth it. the clutch is over 1000 bucks new. I could let it go pretty cheap. email me joe18_04@yahoo.com |
