hi to all i need some help i have an 88 supra turbo 5 speed manual tranny now i brought this car used and the transmission syncros are out on 1rst 2nd and 3rd keeps kicking shift out anyway i found a refurbished 91 5speed manual tranny for the supra turb for 750.00 but this tranny has A.B.S does it matter if my tranny aint A.B.S

that abs sensor is just an electrical plug. If you don't have abs. Don't worry as you don't have the electrical connector to connect to it anyway Smile

Actually, the connector is there for the transmission sensor on the 86-88 w/o ABS. It's the white plug located under the intake manifold, toward the rear.


boricau-x you can remove the sensor, but you need the metal plug that goes in it's place, you can get one from a dealer.

If not... just cut the wires ( I can't believe I wrote that )
